Abstract
Primary splenic tumors are extremely rare and because of this are not usually considered in differential diagnosis of splenomegaly.
We experienced recently 2 cases of primary splenic tumors originated from vascular sturcture, the one is hemangiosarcoma and the other is cystic lymphangioma which was discovered unexpectedly during surgery of gastric malignancy.
In hemangiosarcoma, splenomegaly andd mild degree of unusual hematologic findings were presented without spontaneous rupture of spleen and liver metastasis.
But in cystic lympahngioma, splenomegaly and subjective symptoms caused by the tumor were not noted.
